BlackJack Suit Settled

Research in Motion Ltd. and Samsung have settled the lawsuit over Samsung’s use of the mark BlackJack for its Blackberry-like smart phone.
In a statement RIM said that the settlement includes “immediate provisions for the protection of RIM’s valuable trademarks.” The specific terms of the deal were confidential.
