About

Our goal: To be the most “user-friendly” law firm.

What does that mean? To us, it means to provide the best client service at reasonable rates. Clients pay us to assist them. We believe that, in return, our clients are entitled to prompt responses to their inquiries and regular updates on the status of their matters.

After a decade of law practice both at law firms and at corporations, we have come to believe that there is a need for high quality and affordable trademark services in the United States. We have seen many established and quality firms be bought and merged to create even larger general practices. However, based on our experience as in-house counsel and at a small firm that was acquired by a large general practice, we believe that this merger trend tends to dilute the expertise of those trademark attorneys while fees continue to increase. Moreover, our in-house experience has revealed that many firms have conflicts because they represent so many clients in particular fields.

We have experience representing the interests of companies in a variety of fields including: personal care, pharmaceutical, nutritionals and nutraceuticals, clothing, home products, banks, haut-coûture, jewelers and others. Likewise, we have represented large multi-national companies as well as small, start-up companies.

Therefore, the Law Offices of G. Mathew Lombard offers its clients a wealth of trademark experience. Our experience allows us to communicate effectively with small start-up companies as well as seasoned in-house trademark attorneys, and tailor our services to each client. Moreover, we have the capability of helping an individual begin the process of protecting its intellectual property rights as well as assist large multi-nationals to plan, implement, manage and protect its valuable IP portfolios. We achieve this through careful planning of our systems and procedures, and by taking advantage of the best technology available to lawyers.

We have reduced the amount of physical paper and storage required by implementing - to the extent it is useful - a “paperless” system. Of course, hard copies will always be available, if required. This, of course, reduces our costs without reducing the quality of service - savings that are reflected in our fees. The reduction of physical paper also increases our ability to respond to clients quickly.

In essence, we believe that we have created a firm that is the most “user-friendly” you will find. For additional information, please contact us.
